We are looking for a Document and Records Management Training Coordinator. Reporting to the Manager, Document and Records Management, you will be responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of training and communication plans. These plans will be developed and implemented in collaboration with the Business Manager, Team Leads, Project Managers, Business System Analysts, Operations Managers, Husky Document Management System Super Users and other client groups. This supervisory position conducts needs assessments, sets curriculum and learning objectives, evaluates and updates current training programs, assigns work priorities to training staff and schedules training delivery. You will be responsible for developing information management e-learning and virtual learning programs. You will develop and deliver a communication and marketing plan as part of the super user program and to support the document and records management strategic objectives. Key areas of responsibility include: • Manage and continue to evolve the Husky Document Management Super User community of practice • Conduct regular collaboration and networking information sessions for the Super Users • Manage the document and records management web pages and the super user forum • Develop, execute and coordinate in-house training courses and programs for document and records management • Develop, execute and coordinate field training courses, including computer based training development (some travel will be required) • Identify new training opportunities as a result of industry requirements and demands • Forecast training requirements • Supervise and direct the training team • Manage procedural documentation (manuals, etc.) • Contribute to developing communication strategies to support departmental and project requirements

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• A related university degree or college diploma and/or professional certification (e.g., ACTP or CTDP) in adult education; with 7-10 years' directly related experience
• Certified Records Manager certification would be a definite asset
• Solid technical knowledge and understanding of electronic records and document management systems such as Opentext Content Management
• Proven experience with eLearning software such as Articulate, Authorware, Adobe eLearning Suite, or similar is essential
• Excellent skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Visio, Project) and HTML
• Solid understanding of the concepts, functionality and configuration of document and records management systems
• Demonstrated training development and evaluation experience that is focused on on-the-job skills building
• General understanding of project management methodologies
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Expert level training and communication (written and oral) skills
• Ability to coach and mentor personnel, possessing strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills
