Duties:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Duties include the following, but are not limited to: •Coordinate the identification, approval and disposition process for hard copy and electronic records using existing technology; •Participate and/or conduct interviews, evaluations and surveys to assess business requirements throughout the organization in regards to the management of information (structured and unstructured); •Analyze business requirements, make recommendations in regards to the management of information and assist in the implementation of the agreed upon requirements and design; •Provide guidance and training throughout the organization in regards to the implementation and business support of the enterprise records management plan, policies and procedures; •Assist in providing end user support and administration of business functionality within the document management, records management system and participate in ongoing implementation projects; •Assist in annual program reviews and record audits to ensure standards/ guidelines are adhered to; •Assist with special projects and initiatives due to operational requirements at hand.

Qualifications:

Required Experience & Skill Set: •Formal education in Records and Information Management or Library Science field with 3 to 5 years experience or 7 to 10 years of relevant and progressive records and information management experience within the oil and gas industry; •Good understanding of technology and its interdependences with the management of information; •Familiarity with document and records management systems (i.e. eDocs); •Ability to multi-task, prioritize, schedule and organize work, perform under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities; •Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint); •Excellent problem solving with ability to use independent judgment and analytical skills to resolve problems; •Client focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present ideas and information in a business-friendly and user-friendly language; •Knowledge of Best Practices, Records Management Policy, Procedures and Records Retention Programs, and Offsite Management and storage procedures; •Business analyst (project management) skills; •Ability to work in a team environment and under minimum supervision; •Maintains a positive and professional attitude with clients and team members; •Highly self motivated and directed.
