Duties:

This position is eligible for Nexen's Compressed Work Schedule program (CWS). This program provides flexibility in work hours to assist employees in balancing their work and personal lives. CWS participants work eight hours and 40 minutes per day and earn two Fridays off per month, for a total of 24 days off annually. Classifying, indexing and labeling well and area records in both paper and digital format using Trango Well and Geo Manager applications; - Performing the timely submission of operated well data to regulatory agencies; - Distributing operated well data to partner companies; - Checking-in and checking-out technical records to business unit staff and performing regular recalls; - Handling user requests for information and documents; - Interacting with internal personnel (geoscientists and technicians) and external contacts (service and supply companies); - Loading documents into Livelink; - Moving files to adjust for changing space requirements, including to an offsite storage company; - Performing various other projects as assigned.

Salary:

Qualifications:

- A records management certificate or library and information technology diploma; - Experience indexing both paper and electronic file formats; - Experience working with well and area data; - Experience with records management software with the ability to learn new software programs; - Experience handling user requests; - Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy; - A commitment to quality and customer service; - Great time management, organization and communication skills with the ability to multi-task; - Familiarity with the oil and gas industry, particularly with well and area records; - Experience managing projects; - The ability to lift boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.
