Works with limited supervision within the Information Management team. Duties include: •Assisting IM Team to develop policy and standards for management of Canadian Business Unit (CBU) documents •Assisting workgroups with finding solutions to manage their documents. •Responsible for the management and coordination of all record series in the centralized file area •Development and documentation of IM work processes •Ensure compliance of record retention on all documents •Assist eDOCS Administrator with maintenance and quality control of EDMS. Provide eDOCS functionality support for end-users as required. •Accurate retrieval and circulation of hardcopy records to customers •Maintenance of hardcopy records using in-house records management system. •Retrieval of information from public and government agencies •Transferring pre-identified records to off-site storage and creation of transmittals •Uploading documents into record systems as required •Assisting team with projects as requested Other duties •Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing. •Verification and processing of invoices from offsite data storage vendors
Commensurate with qualifications
Certificate/Diploma in Records and Information Management. A combination of education and experience may be considered. • Minimum of 10 years records management experience, including proficiency with classification and retention schedules. • -Strong working knowledge of information databases (i.e.: PIMS, eQuest, eDOCS, RMS) -Working knowledge of Canadian Unique Well Identifier System -Previous Oil & Gas experience would be an asset. Library experience would also be an asset. A strong understanding of current records management principles, standards and technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with users and management.
