Duties:

Contract Type Temp. Assignment - Full-time General Information Working on the Keystone Pipeline Project, this position will report to the Manager of Project Services as a member of the Document Management and Drafting team. The successful candidate will provide support to the department for managing information, and ensuring compliance with the corporate Information Management & Security Policy (IM&S Policy). PLEASE NOTE: This is a temporary assignment at our Airdrie location for 6 to 9 months. Responsibilities Direct responsibilities include: - Maintenance of central repository. - Indexing and updating electronic and hard copy data. - Maintenance of electronic systems (File Net, iRIMS, servers). - Perform search/research and quality assurance for information management projects. - Respond to requests for research. - Work under the direction of Keystone Project Records Administrator to receive and physically organize boxes of completed construction project information from various Keystone field locations. -Collect, sort, classify, index, label and re-box (when necessary) engineering and construction project documents following the Keystone project and corporate records management procedures and tools. - Record boxes received and off-sited for each part of the project. - Manage box lists in iRIMS. - Maintain box management statistics. - File box content list sheets. - May be required to be at the Calgary downtown office one-day per week.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Education Qualifications/Competencies Required: - Ability to sort, classify and index engineering and construction project documents following the Corporate Classification Scheme and Keystone indexing processes. - Experience entering hard files into a records and information management database, with attention to detail, accuracy and completeness. - Ability to search in iRIMS database, export and format folder lists in Excel. - Ability to follow pre-determined method of grouping, recording, keyboarding and indexing various segments of the project information in order to facilitate future retrieval. - Project experience would be an asset. - Proven track record for working with minimal supervision - Ability to not be intimidated by high volume and/or repetitive tasks. - Must be able to perform some manual materials handling (lifting of boxes, up to approx. 40 lbs). Education/Experience: - Records/Information Management Certificate would be an asset. - 1 to 3 years of related experience. - Exposure to oil or gas pipeline engineering and construction industry. - Knowledge of: iRIMS, EDMS/FileNet, Network/File Structures, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Intranet/Internet. - Computer skills, i.e. MS Office programs Depending on the qualifications of the applicants, the successful candidate may be offered a position at a more appropriate level.
