Duties:

This position coordinates County records management functions and administration; ensures that departmental sub-systems comply with corporate records management policies and practices; maintains and coordinates the County Master File Plan and Records Retention Schedules; manages records system projects, including file conversions, records disposition and electronic conversions. Implements and coordinates County automated records management system; develops and coordinates inactive records and archival storage system; processes and tracks information requests; assists users in accessing County information. Coordinates the ordering of records management equipment, material and supplies; provides training to County staff.

Salary:

With Full Qualifications: $53,755/yr - 35 hour work week

Qualifications:

• Completion of Grade 12 or GED equivalent and a Records Management Certificate/Diploma from an accredited institution/association – a combination of experience and education may be considered • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience, preferably in a municipal setting, in a confidential records management capacity • Working knowledge of the FOIPP Act (Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy) • Ability to lift medium weight (approximately 25 lbs)
