Topic: When the Perfect Emergency Plan Goes Sideways
Speaker: Marshall Oliver, Belfor
Synopsis of presentation:
Come join us as Marshall Oliver uses two case studies to highlight many of the complexities of emergency response and disaster recovery following property damage. This is a “must attend” event for Records Managers, Facility Managers and any others responsible for the care of buildings and their contents, including libraries and archives.
Case study 1: Reality Spotlights Flaws
This case depicts how a major Canadian corporation learned lessons the hard way when disaster struck one of their primary operational facilities. Marshall will focus on lessons learned following implementation of a well intentioned but flawed disaster response plan.
Case study 2: Lessons Learned at -30º
After a short break, Marshall will share the trials and tribulations of recovering from disaster in Canada's frozen arctic.
