Certified Records Manager = CRM

The CRM site has been designed by the ICRM Committee of the Calgary Chapter to assist candidates and potential candidates for the Certified Records Manager (CRM) designation. Information and resources will be included in this site. The information includes:

•    Tips on applying, maintaining the records you need for your application, promoting the certification and anything else that comes to mind. These tips are from current CRMs who have experience in the techniques needed.

•    Speaker Corner Information that will outline the activities of the Calgary Chapter ICRM Committee

•    On-line resources for use by all. These resources include such items as an index of ARMA Records Management Quarterly articles classified to assist you in studying for the exams, along with books available from the Calgary Chapter library collection.

•    Links to the Institute of Certified Records Managers

Applying for Certification

There are specific application forms and supporting documentation required for the application process. The credentials and work experience are reviewed and evaluated by the ICRM Certification Standards Committee to determine if the certification requirements have been met.
